Richard Tosic Architects have gained Full Planning consent for a two storey extension to an existing farmhouse near Bodmin.
The existing farmhouse had an existing 1950′ extension which had come to the end of its useful life. This element is to be demolished and replaced with a two storey extension which is cut into the raised ground level adjacent to the building. The ground level accommodates utility spaces and the first floor provides additional bedrooms and a family bathroom.
Although the existing farmhouse is not listed, the new design is sympathetic to the scale and finishes of the main house.
