A new planning permission was achieved for a site in Stithians, which did already benefit from an extant planning permission for a new single dwelling.
The client originally commissioned RTA to assist with an extension and alterations to an existing property opposite this site. The original design exercise established the aspirations of the client, which were then applied to the new design.
The new site was larger and allowed the client to achieve their aspirations of reverse living, open plan spaces, and large areas of glazing to the elevations. The site itself is on a steep slope, and the accommodation is stepped down from the high level access track to the rear.
