New Extension

Richard Tosic Architects were commissioned to resolve an issue with existing spaces and structures to the rear of the property. In the past, a small, poorly designed extension had been added. This was demolished and a new extension designed to optimise the space available. The new space access the small courtyard garden, and provides additional living accommodation.

There were several design and technical issues to be resolved, including dealing with a party wall award and building over a mains sewer.

Recycled Delabole slates were used for the external cladding.
