Richard Tosic Architects were commissioned to assist with statutory consents such as planning permission and Building Regulations approval.
The project is located in Mylor, near Falmouth in Cornwall. The site originally had a bungalow, plus various sheds and greenhouses which were demolished. The design brief was to create a new family home, with an open plan living space, a snug, and five bedrooms.
The design incorporated a green oak timber frame in the single storey open plan area. The external finishes include render and western red cedar timber panelling to the walls and a natural slate roofing.
A double garage and a boat house were also included on the site. The large garden will be landscaped, to include terraces and a kitchen garden
